LEGO Strikes Again

I purchased this item for my daughter's friend for Christmas. He is a huge LEGO buff. Absolutely loves LEGO. And, as usual, LEGO did not disappoint. He was "over the moon" when he opened his present. I never hesitate to give LEGO to my daughter or her friends because I know that they will be getting a quality (and fun) item.

Police Cops!

This City Police set features an Elite Officer on a quad bike chasing after a crook on a wheelbarrow. I'm not sure that a wheelbarrow is really the most effective method of escape after plundering a stash of light bulb-shaped jewels, but nevermind. I call the cop Captain McCoy. For the me the crook is part of a bigger group of organized crime. It works as a nice companion set to the Police 4x4, the Police Boat, and the Police Dinghy as collection of mini City Police sets.
I managed to assemble it without reading the instructions, but upon opening it I found that is specifically tells you not to assemble it on the carpet, but on a table.

Cheaper at WalMart and in the LEGO Catalog

The LEGO City Police ATV 60006 is $ 6.99 in the LEGO January 2013 Catalog and $6.97 at WalMart (where I got it). I don't know why Amazon and other sellers are selling it for more than even LEGO says it is worth.
To talk about the product itself. My 6 year old son built this little set all by himself with no help. He loves it, even though I know shortly it will be deconstructed so its pieces can be used to make something else.
